Safety First, Fun Always
Before I send you off to celebrate, let's talk safety. With drought conditions and fire restrictions in our area, please leave the fireworks to the professionals. Most cities have ordinances against personal fireworks anyway, and trust me, your neighbors (and their pets) will appreciate it!
Remember:
- Consumer fireworks are prohibited in Williamson County parks
- Always check local fire department guidelines
- When in doubt, stick to the professional shows
Make the Most of Your Celebration
Family-Friendly Tips:
- Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and plenty of water
- Pack snacks and drinks (check each venue's policy)
- Arrive early for the best spots
- Bring cash for parking and vendors
- Consider ear protection for sensitive little ones during fireworks
- Don't forget the bug spray - it's summer in Texas!
No matter which celebration you choose, you're guaranteed a fantastic time with your family. These local events bring our community together in the best way possible, celebrating our freedom while creating new traditions with the people we love most.
Have you decided which event you'll attend? I'd love to hear about your family's 4th of July plans! Share your photos and tag us - there's nothing better than seeing our Cedar Park, Leander, and Liberty Hill families making memories together.
